First semester is over. Last final was on Friday.

I loved working at the library.

Mill Valley is adorable, quiet, full of water & trees.

Classes didn't demand much attention; it is as people say, "a pastor's school."

So many talks of loss of faith at the seminary, as if assumed.

If you faith can't survive a southern baptist seminary, your faith can't survive anything.

Crossing the bridges about 6 times a week. That has been awesome.

books for the winter:
Christian Doctrine of God, by T.F. Torrance
Actuality of Atonement, by Gunton
God of Grace & God of Glory, by Stephen Holmes
Divine Discourse, by Nicholas Wolterstorff
Blind Assassin, by Atwood
Human Wishes, by Robert Hass (re-read)
God's Being is in Becoming, by Jungel
Austerlitz, by Sebald (re-read)

Secondarily:
Karl Barth's critical-realistic dialectical theology, by McCormack
Orthodox and Modern, by McCormack
Ascension and Ecclesia, by Farrow
Persons in Communion, by Alan Torrance
Bergsonism, by Deleuze.
Snow, by Pamuk.
Poetics of Space, by Bachelard.
